1. What we collect
When you use Spotvoy without signing in, we store your search queries (origins, destinations, dates, traveler counts) and results in our database to power the results page and allow you to share a link. This data is not linked to any personal identifier.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google OAuth. We use this to identify your account, save your searches, and surface preferences across sessions. We do not receive your Google password.
2. How we use your data

- •To improve Spotvoy's recommendations over time (aggregate, anonymized).
- •To track affiliate link clicks for commission attribution (anonymous event data).
3. What we do not do

- •We do not track you across other websites.
4. Affiliate links
When you click a hotel, rental car, or activity link on Spotvoy, we may earn an affiliate commission. These links contain a tracking identifier. Clicking them does not share any personal information with the affiliate partner — only the anonymous click event is tracked for commission attribution.
5. Data storage
Spotvoy stores data on Neon PostgreSQL (US region). Search results are also cached temporarily on our servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
6. Cookies and sessions
Spotvoy uses a session cookie to maintain your signed-in state if you authenticate with Google. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by Spotvoy itself. Our affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you click through to their sites, governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Your rights
You can delete your Spotvoy account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@spotvoy.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted with a revised "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Spotvoy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
